• Prepare before taking notes

1. Build up the background about the topic 
2. Have idea what the lecture is about
3. Identity main ideas and organise notes easiar
4. Be familiar with the key term
5. Get ready to take notes
6. Review the notes took during the last class while waiting for class to begin
